Although researchers in the field offers a number of approaches and methods to vocabulary teaching and learning, there has not been a method that best enhances the learning of that segment. In recent years, Flipped Classroom Model (FCM); a new didactical method that relies on the use of online technology in teaching and learning has been examined. Hence, this research aims to investigate the effect of FCM on enhancing the vocabulary knowledge of EFL learners. A quasi experimental research was adopted and the data was obtained from an experimental test. It took place at Fellah Mohamed Lakhiari middle school- Oum El Bouaghi. The participants are fourth year pupils composing two groups. These groups represented an experimental and a control group. While the latter received treatment with a traditional method, the former received FCM treatment. Pre-post-test design was conducted to compare the effect of both treatments. The analysis of the tests revealed that using FCM in teaching vocabulary to EFL learners enhances their vocabulary knowledge. The study offers a list of recommendations and future pedagogical implications together with highlighting the limitations of the current research.enVocabularyTeachingFlipped classroomAn Investigation into the effects of flipped classroom teaching model on EFL learners’ vocabulary knowledgethe case of fourth year pupils at Fellah Mohamed Lakhiari Middle School, Oum El BouaghiOther
