Rather, it can be argued that the revolution in alternative medicine, or what is called alternative medicine, has happened, so there is a need to keep pace with development. Our research devoted this to the study of widely used turmeric (Curcuma Longa) from the Zingiberaceae family. Due to its therapeutic importance since Antiquity in traditional medicine, as well as for its versatility in medicine, nutrition and cosmetology. In our literature review, we relied on the identification of its effective products through phytochemical screening tests, as these have shown that the plant relies on a huge group of these compounds in ethanolic, ethereal and aqueous extracts, and the quantitative content of phenolic compounds and flavonoids was also estimated. Researchers have admitted that turmeric has antioxidant and antibacterial effectiveness.enDetermination of the total content of phenols and flavonoids in curcuma longaeffet protecteur de la luteoline.Image
