Yet, in the process of acquiring new vocabulary items, they face many obstacles. As a result, teachers try to make use of different vocabulary learning strategies such as jigsaw puzzle cooperative technique. The ùain aim of this research is to investigate teachers' attitudes towards the use of jigsaw puzzle cooperative technique to enhance EFL learners' vocabulary knowledge and retention. Thus, we hypothesized that jigsaw puzzle cooperative technique enhance EFL learners' vocabulary acquisition and that teachers have possitive attitudes towards its use. T o verify the validuty of our hypotheses, we have used a descriptive method. A questionnaire was administred to EFL teachers at Larbi Ben Mhidi University, OUM EL-Bouaghi to collect data. The results obtained from this confirmed our hypothesis that teachers have positive attitudes towards the usefulness of jigsaw puzzle cooperative technique on improving EFL learners' vocabulary knowledge and retention.
