The aim of this study is to evaluate the extent compatibility of the sustainable environmental situation in Algeria (1980-2018) with Kuznets environmental approach. The study relies on the descriptive analytical approach to present the theoretical approaches to environmental Kuznets curve EKC and determining the features of the relationship in Algeria.
