It offers practical, effective, and inexpensive solutions. In this paper, we present SDR based design of a system for meteorological image acquisition through NOAA satellite. These satellites are equipped with a radiometer, which scans the earth in five channels; its scanner is able to map the clouds and vegetation, to measure the temperature and the humidity in the atmosphere and on the earth.
