The thyroid hormones play their role by interacting with their receptors (TR? or TR?), and they are controlled by TSH, Tg, deiodinases, and transporters. A lot of studies suggest that thyroid diseasesimpact the reproductive system exactly the gonads natural physiology and they can even lead to infertility. The biological action of the thyroid hormones in the reproductive system is not very clear, despite that we can't deny that the modifications in the thyroid hormones levels impact the metabolism and the function of several organs. In our research, we will summarize the possible biological actions of the thyroid hormones in the reproductive system and the damage caused by the thyroid diseases on fertility.enThyroid hormoneThyroid hormone receptorInfertilityThyroid diseases and reproductioninfertilityOther
