This has led to the integration and adaptation of various methods and strategies to scrutinize students' speaking skills, and project-based learning is one of these strategies. The main aim of this study is to investigate the influence of project-based learning in enhancing students' oral performance. To fulfill this aim, this research employed a mixed method approach, involving a sample of 40 students. Initially, a questionnaire was distributed to separate groups of participants. Following this, a focus group was formed, comprising eighteen students, who actively engaged in project-based learning activities. Within the focus group, these students had the opportunity to present their work and subsequently answer a questionnaire. The findings demonstrated that project-based learning had a significant positive impact on students' speaking ability, and positively influenced their motivation and interest.
