It also attempts to shed light on the importance of establishing a comfortable and friendly environment as an attempt to get learners to use the language appropriately.The present work aims at showing that cooperative group work learning can be a best pedagogicalstrategy to develop not only the learners` communicative competence and interaction, but also to foster their capacity to generatenew language. This study is based on two questionnaires administered to both Third Year LMD students; we have chosen 30 students randomly and to seventeen teachers of Oral Expressionat the department of english, university of Oum-El-Bouaghi to get information about the impact of cooperative group work on reinforcing EFL learners` communicative competence and interaction. The analysis of the questionnaires showed that both learners and teachers consider cooperative group work as an important pedagogical strategy in enhancing classroom communication and interaction.
