This approach reflects the biological, social and individual orientations that build and beautify those dehumanized acts of pure evil. In order to understand the psychopathological character of Angelica, this study utilizes numerous concepts such as the Aestheticization of serial killing in crime fiction, alongside a group of mental disorders such as Malignant Narcissism, Psychopathy, Borderline Personality Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Erotomania and Schizophrenia. Based on these conceptual analyses, this thesis finds out that Angelica's monstrosity and complex neurological and social states are driven by errors in her genetic coding and biological dysfunction .enValery macdermaid; Angelica; Serial killing; Psychotic disordersThe Construction of a monster mind: a psycho biosocial reading of Valery Macdermaid’s the Mermaids singing 1995Other
