This study deals with measuring of some physic-chemical parameters Barbary fig seeds oil, as well as a toxic-pharmacological evaluation of the oil in animal (mice mus musculus) by oral and intraperitoneal routes. On the toxicological part, the oil tested on mice, was considered nonirritant neither on eye and skin.Their acute toxicity study on mice showed an absence or low down toxicity of the the oil, by oral and intraperitoneal routes. Barbary fig known as Opuntia ficus indica L. (Anacacrdiaceae), locally as(elhendi) is a tree with a fruit seed containing a fixed oil, used in traditional medicine and cosmetics. Cutaneous and oral toxicities evaluations of the oil in animal (mousset) concluded that there was short time toxicity at concentrations used.frAn Investigation of the toxicologiical and pharmacological properties of Barbary fig seeds oil and its impact on the reproductionthe case of the mice mus musculusOther
