dc.description.abstractThis study aims to test the impact of the business performance environment through the ease of doing business index in attracting foreign direct investment in the Arab countries, by applying the Panels, joint complementarity and causation models on a sample of 19 Arabic countries during the period 2008-2018. The study indicated that the ease of doing business has a positive effect in attracting foreign direct investment in the Arab countries, in addition to the existence of a long-term relationship between the study variables, and the existence of a causal relationship in the short term for the ease of doing business indicator. من خلال تطبيق نماذح البانل والتكامل المشترك والسببية على عينة مكونة من 19 دولة عربية خلال الفترة 2008-2018. وقد خلصت الدراسة الى أن سهولة أداء الاعمال لها أثر إيجابي في جذب الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر في الدول العربية، إضافة الى وجود علاقة طويلة الاجل بين متغيرات الدراسة، ووجود علاقة سببية .في المدى القصير لمؤشر سهولة أداء الاعمال
