dc.description.abstract | This study tackles the reasons behind former president Donald Trump gain among the two vital minorities in the US( African Americans , Hispanics ) in the 2016/2020 elections. In order to accomplish that our study covers the history of both categories in the US , in addition to their relationship with the two major political parties (Republicans , Democrats ). The descriptive analytical approach was used in my study to analyze how trump 's character who is considered as an intruder in the political field , his background as a successful business man , his use of social media , in addition to his policies toward both minorities allowed him to obtain a substantial number of votes in the past two elections . The results shows that regardless of the historical tens relation of trump's party with African Americans and Hispanics he managed somehow to pull a respectful number of their votes unlike his republican predecessors . Trump background as a business man have him a good insight how to deal with the multiple issues that both minorities suffers from , in addition to his unique use of social media (Twitter) that helped him to reach a wider audience from both categories | ar |
