Learning english language is hard because of several issues that push learners back and prevent them from achieving their goal. The teaching method can play an important role to motivate students to learn. The aim of this work is to investigate the importance of team work as a motivational technique for students to learn english as a FL.To verify our hypothesis, two questionnaires were administered to both EFL teachers and students at Larbi Ben M'Hidi university. The findings show that team work (pair work and group work) is an effective method because it targets the learners' motivation.ar
