Abstract
Grammar is considered as a crucial element in language learning process. Learners of foreign language face difficulties in acquiring such grammatical features of that language. The present study aims at investigating the effect of explicit corrective feedback on the acquisition of the third person singular "S" among of second year LMD students of arabic Literature at the department of arabic Literature at Larbi Ben M'Hidi university, Oum-El-Bouaghi. In order to examine the research hypothesis that explicit corrective feedback has a positive effect on learners' acquisition of the third person singular "S", a quasi- experiment was conducted instead of questionnaire. The quasi-experiment requires a pre-test, treatment period and a post-test. The final results suggest that the independent variable (explicit corrective feedback) has a significant impact on the dependent variable (third person singular "S"). Since the positive affect of ECF, teachers need to imply this type of feedback on students to help them acquire the grammatical features easily.
