Abstract
Domestic violence is a serious social problem that affects all countries in the world and specifically in USA. This research aims specifically to examine the reality of women practice of violence in intimate relationship against their male partner in USA using statistics from govermental departments in the USA and researches followed by professionals in the field of domestic violence. The research based on the rate of each year victims of domestic violence and groups of those who suffer from domestic violence (specifically men as victims in this research) and participants in surveys made by professionals researchers as well as statistics about women who practice violence as often as men do in intimate relationships. In contrast to the familiar stereotype that domestic violence is a female issue, domestic violence concerns both gender male and female. Indeed women practice of violence in homes and the stereotype of domestic violence is no more working in the USA.
