| dc.description.abstract | The study emphasizes the role of irrigation perimeters in boosting agricultural productivity and ensuring sustainable water and food security. These perimeters help improve food quality and increase production by mitigating the effects of climate challenges that threaten food and water security. The close link between water availability and agricultural output is highlighted, with clean, sustainable water being essential for meeting food demands. Using a descriptive-analytical approach, the study examines the Beni Haroun Dam and irrigation systems in Oum El Bouaghi and Mila, alongside grain production from 2018-2022. Key findings indicate that irrigation perimeters enhance agricultural production and act as water reserves for various uses. | |
