This dissertation deals with the clash of civilization in Bernard Lewis Writings: An analytical study. It purports to analyze the omnipresent ideology of the conflict between the existent civilizations between the Eastern and the Western Christendom emerged as an essential topic upon history. Historians and chroniclers are divided between those who recognize the existence of the clash between civilizations which is, for them, as old as history itself and others deny its existence and advocate the ideology of the necessity of peaceful co- existence between the different existing civilizations. It spots the light on the ideologies of one of the most prominent leader who pioneered the ideology of the unenviable clash between the civilizations; Bernard Lewis who denied the existence of the so-called Islamic Civilization which was according to him built on the cadavers of the Greeks- Roman Civilizations. This dissertation sheds the light on the one of Bernard Lewis books Arabs in History and examines the different issues and subjects. He analyzed the Islamic dynasties chronologically; before the appearance of Islam until the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, but with an extremist point of view towards Islam and Arabs (extremism and confusion ideas).ar
