Abstract
This Mémoire attempts to analyze the Syrian Conflict and the Refugees Crisis. It also tries to figure out the main policy adapted by the American President Barack Obama towards the Syrian refugee crisis. As the Syrian Crisis formed without clear end, large refugee problems have begun to emerge, resettlement and assistance ideas were the best available solutions for the United States; President Barack Obama offered opportunities to achieve acceptable results to help these Syrian refugees. More specifically, this work handles the issue of the Syrian sheltered people who cross border. Accordingly, this research sheds the light on the policy of President Obama towards the refugee crisis. The research work deals with two points, first showing how the Syrian events started to grow and what was the Syrian government strategy followed by the refugee problems. The second is the U.S. policy and strategies during Obama's administration on behalf the Syrian crisis and its humanitarian issue, chased with critics from many political opponents. Hence, the conclusion reached in this study is that Obama's policy towards the Syrian crisis was to stop the violence happening in Syria and he supported those opposition groups to confront against Bashar al-Assad regime. Likewise, he tried to protect his administration's interests. Nonetheless regarding to the Syrian refugees, he called the whole world to step up and started welcoming them within his own country.
