This research addresses the critical challenge of transitioning to cleaner and more sustainable fuel sources amid current environmental concerns. It focuses on the potential of alternative fuels like ammonia (NH3) and methanol (CH3OH) to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and diversify energy sources. However, their combustion poses inherent challenges, including low flame speed and emissions of pollutants like nitrogen oxides (NOx). To overcome these challenges, two strategies are explored: ammonia cracking and hydrogen addition to the fuel mixture. The thesis aims to systematically compare these approaches through numerical simulations, considering various parameters such as equivalence ratio, temperature, and hydrogen or cracking rates. The results will deepen understanding of the combustion of ammonia-methanol mixtures and inform the development of cleaner combustion technologies. The thesis is structured into chapters focusing on ammonia, methanol, numerical modeling, and comparative analysis, concluding with implications for future research and development in clean combustion technologies based on ammonia
