Abstract
This aim of this study is to examine the effect of authentic audio materials on pronunciation accuracy and to what extent this type of materials is beneficial and helpful for EFL learners at Larbi Ben Mhidi University. After observing the target population which is composed of 25 students for each of the two groups for four weeks, the researcher has narrowed his work about pronunciation accuracy by choosing four individual speech sounds on the basis of the observation conducted by the researcher. The pretest and posttest were designed according to the level of learners and the number of participants. The fieldwork is carried following an experimental, analytical method with the use of a voice recording technique for oral data collection.The obtained results have proved that listening to authentic audio materials at early stages of learning enhances pronunciation accuracy of the targeted speech sounds. To conclude with, Listening to authentic language is a powerful strategy that helps EFL learners to enhance their pronunciation accuracy.
