dc.description.abstract | This study is conducted with the aim of finding out the impact of grammatical activities based on games on the mastery of English pronouns. In our research, we hypothesized that games may have either positive or negative effects on teaching Pronouns. In order to confirm or reject this hypothesis, we carried out an experiment with first year EFL students at Larbi Ben M'Hidi university, Oum-El-Bouaghi. The sample of the study is composed of 60 students who were divided into two different groups. The first group was taught pronouns by the use of games, whereas the second group was instructed by following the deductive approach. Both groups were pre-tested and post-tested. The results derived from the post-test proved that educational games contribute in enhancing the students' mastery of pronouns. Consequently, some suggestions and pedagogical implications are designed for EFL teachers on the basis of the study findings. | ar |
