Abstract
Learning styles theory attracted the attention of many researchers and educators around the world. It is proved that incorporating this theory into teaching would lead to a more effective teaching learning process. The overall aim of the present research is to evaluate the units and the activities of the English Textbook ? New Prospects", which is used in the Algerian secondary school, third year level in terms of learning styles theory. In addition, this study investigates pupils' perceptions about the content of "New Prospects" to determine whether it caters for their various styles. Moreover, an attempt is made to examine teachers' background and application of the theory. The analysis is based on a questionnaire
