Abstract
For more than a century, geologists, geomorphologists and soil mechanics have tried by various methods to understand the phenomenon of landslides and more broadly, land movement and its mechanisms. Currently the study of the ground movements represents a very important axis of research by using the ground reconnaissance and the cartography, this work will thus come to supplement the works already carried out in the Algerian North-East especially the area of Oum El Bouaghi. The mount of Sidi R'ghis is a part of the Constantinian Hight plane, the objective of our work is to map the various movements of rock masses around the massif of Sidi R'ghis. This study is based primarily on field observation that allowed us to photograph and locate the landslides and landslides. The second step of the study is the mapping of these landslides using the Arc gis software. This study revealed a large number of landslides in the region of Sidi R'ghis, and the presence of a large fault that is the main cause of the slides.
