In this work, we study the recurrence or transformation T of the second order. We determine the regions in phase space where the riddled basins and intermingled basins denote a characteristic type of fractal domain of attraction that can arise when chaotic motion is confined to an invariant subspace of the total phase space. We explore certain properties of critical curves. Finally, we investigate the fundamental bifurcations that lead to qualitative changes in the structure of an attractor basin.
