This paper is an approach to design a new full bridge single-phase multifunction converter. Reduction of freedom degrees is the principal mean to build the converter dedicated mainly to mobile applications fed by photovoltaic cells. The rules of reducing controllable semiconductors are analyzed and simulation and experimental results prove the feasibility of the approach.ar
