dc.description.abstractIn choosing the president, the United States of America adopts a specific voting system. Gender has presented a huge deal in American electoral politics. The purpose of this study is whether female candidates and office holders continue to address these gaps by encouraging other women to vote or run for office themselves. The study also aims to address the issue of gender and feminism that has taken place in the 2016 ' US presidential campaign .In the case of the first female Democratic presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton. It aims to examine Hillary's strategic approaches and the way in which she integrated female influence into her campaigns. It would also also examine the reasons why was a revolutionary feminist who represented her as a significant political figure in the long term or, on the contrary, put her under the spotlight of major media attention and political criticism. This study paper is made up of two chapters : Chapter one is an introduction to the historical background of gender in US electoral politics and its significant influence on the filed . And Chapter two introduced the influence of gender in presidential campaigns explained by Clinton as a case study .ar
