dc.description.abstractThe aim of this work, is to design and construct a robotic palletizer, guided by a machine vision system, which makes the robot capable of recognizing parts based on color and shape, and sorting them through pick-and-place application. This project combines the knowledge of mechanics, image processing, electronics and programming. The project is mainly oriented towards educational purposes, which is totally open source to help both students and amateurs to understand the basic concepts of roboticsar
