| dc.description.abstract | يهدف هذا المقال من خلال تحليل الأدلة النظرية والتجريبية إلى تسليط الضوء على الجدل المستمر حول طبيعة العلاقة بين الأداء الاجتماعي وأهداف الاستدامة المالية لمؤسسات التمويل الأصغر، هل هي حقا علاقة مفاضلة (مقايضة)؟ أي البحث في قدرة مؤسسات التمويل الأصغر على تحقيق الأداء المالي الجيد دون المساومة بأهدافها الاجتماعية. تم التوصل إلى أن نوع العلاقة يختلف باختلاف نوع المؤسسة، حيث مؤسسات التمويل الأصغر من نوع البنك ترتبط ارتباطًا سلبيًا بالأداء الاجتماعي، بينما المؤسسات من نوع المنظمات غير الحكومية غير الهادفة للربح ترتبط سلبًا بالأداء المالي. The present research aims to highlight the ongoing debate about the nature of the relationship between the social performance and financial sustainability goals of MFIs. The research further attempts to measure the ability of MFIs to achieve targeted financial performance without compromising their social goals, and determine whether there is It really a trade-off relationship between the social and financial sustainability goals of MFIs by analysing theoretical and empirical evidence. It was concluded that the studies found experimental evidence on the trade-off between the financial performance and the social performance of MFIs, ie the deviation mission drift in the microfinance industry. Most of the parties involved in microfinance have been debating in the recent years about the subject, and have settled the matter in favor of the financial sustainability approaches, arguing that largescale outreach to the poor and achieving long-term social goals cannot be guaranteed unless MFIs are financially sustainable. | ar |
