The SAE3 subject “Spectroscopic Methods I” is a fundamental teaching unit. It aims to teach analytical techniques, which have been presented with the aim of providing broader coverage of the many scientific sectors in which analytical techniques and methods are now increasingly applied. The recommended prior knowledge for a good understanding of the subject is: Preliminary notions in spectroscopy Physical General chemistry The subject program is divided into the following chapters: Chapter I : GENERAL PRINCIPLES OF THE SPECTROSCOPY Chapter II: ABSORPTION SPECTROSCOPY IN UV-VISIBLE Chapter III : VIBRATION SPECTROSCOPYIN THE INFRARED Chapter IV : ATOMIC SPECTROSCOPY Chapter V : ABSORPTION AND EMISSION ATOMIC
