| dc.description.abstract | تواجه السعودية تحديات كبيرة بخصوص الأمن الغذائي، كونها تستورد ما يزيد عن 80% من احتياجاتها من المنتجات الغذائية الأساسية، وهو ما ساهم في تراجع نسب الاكتفاء الغذائي لديها واتساع الفجوة الغذائية، وتهدف الدراسة إلى قياس مؤشرات الأمن الغذائي لمنتوج القمح خلال الفترة ( 2000-2018) ، وتتمثل مشكلة البحث في: ما مدى قدرة القطاع الزراعي على تحسين الأمن الغذائي؟ ، وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى أن إمكانات الأمن الغذائي المتاحة في السعودية ليس لديها القدرة الكافية لتحسينه، خاصة في ظل تراجع نسب الاكتفاء الغذائي من المنتجات الزراعية على غرار منتوج القمح. Saudi Arabia faces major challenges regarding food security, as it imports more than 80% of its basic food needs, which contributed to the decline in its food sufficiency rates and the widening food gap, and the study aims to measure the food security indicators of the wheat product during the period (2000-2018), the problem of research is: how well is the agricultural sector able to improve food security? The study concluded that the food security potential available in Saudi Arabia does not have sufficient capacity to improve it, especially in light of the decline in food sufficiency rates of agricultural products such as wheat products. | ar |
