Abstract
This paper aims to explore the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic upon nurses’ motivation at work at the public hospital in Ali Mendjeli, Algeria. Results show that there is a statistically significant positive correlation between the independent variable and all the dependent variables. Moreover, there are no differences in terms of the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on nurses’ motivation at work concerning age, salary or professional experience. The study concludes with the necessary to implement the right reforms in the healthcare sector in order to establish a motivating work environment. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن تأثير جائحة كوفيد-19 في دافعية العمل لدى الممرضين في م.ع.إ بعلي منجلي، الجزائر. بينت النتائج وجود علاقة طردية بين المتغيرات وعدم وجود فروقات على أساس السن، الأجر أو الخبرة المهنية. خلصت الدراسة إلى ضرورة وضع الإصلاحات المناسبة في قطاع الصحة بهدف توفير مناخ عمل محفّز.
