Small and medium cities are characterized by the importance of their geographical spread, the diversity of their economic activities, and their growing demographic size compared to major cities. They play a key role in organizing local and regional areas throughout a number of mechanisms, the most important of which are public services. Medenine is a city that located i the southeast of Tunisia, it is an example of mediumsized city, that has witnessed continuous administrative promotion since the period of the French occupation. Added to that, it incubated a number of leadership at the local and regional level despite the intensity of urban rivalry with the rest of state's cities. In fact, the city is working on the advantage of its geographical location and strength its functions and diversifying it to Increasing its regional radiation.
