Abstract
English is an international language that is spoken by many communities throughout the world. For a successful communication, the language's four skills must be developed i.e. Writing, reading, listening, and speaking. Speaking is a special skill that needs careful attention so that to be developed, yet students nowadays are facing difficulties when it comes to the oral performance. The aim of this study is to prove the significance of blended-learning in enhancing learners' speaking skill. To achieve this aim, the researchers followed two methods: a descriptive method using questionnaire that was addressed to secondary school teachers and an experimental approach with secondary school scientific stream pupils which were divided into two groups (experimental and control). The obtained data from the experiment revealed that there were significant differences between the percentages of improvement for both the experimental and the control groups. Furthermore, the questionnaire showed that teachers are relatively aware of the blended-learning' potential to optimize the teaching process, yet they seem to not focus on applying it in their EFL teaching. To conclude, the study proved that hybrid learning should be adopted as it has a strong effect on improving learners' speaking skill. Accordingly, teachers and lesson designers should strongly consider implementing hybrid-learning in their teaching to help EFL learners develop their English competence and specifically the speaking skill.
