Urban thermal comfort is one of the most important criteria to take into account in urban planning. Unfortunately, this thermal comfort in urban outdoor spaces is not always guaranteed due to several factors such as climate change and temperature rise due to both human activities and the geological nature of the Guelma region. These factors ended up creating what is called the urban heat island phenomenon which negatively affects the natural environment and human health. Several countries have adopted different techniques to end this problem while simultaneously wanting to reduce heat and provide cool air through, in general, the creation of green and blue spaces. However, the latter are not suitable for different climatic families because they contribute to the increase in the humidity level of the area. In this case, the geothermal energy which characterizes the city of Hammam Debagh, presents a sustainable and promising solution to provide urban thermal comfort without modifying its parameters.ar
