dc.description.abstractIn this memory, we study the problem of optimal control for an electric vehicle, by minimizing the energy consumed with a direct method which consists of transforming an optimal control problem into a nonlinear optimization problem in finite dimension by discretizing the status and control. This type of problem is generally modeled using localized controlled systems. We then applied it to our model by carrying out simulations in Matlab to illustrate the results. Imposing constraints on speed can lead to either an increase or a decrease in energy consumption.
