Abstract
The study aims at determining the role of financial innovation in achieving commercial banks profitability where the Algerian National Bank was chosen as a model for studying. Also, using the deductive approach and calculation of profitability indicators as a tool to process and analyze data. A set of finding has been found that despite the efforts made by Algerian National Banks in adopting many financial innovation during 2014-2018, its pre-adoption profit was high compared to that they are registered as the bank has faced liquidity problems.
