Abstract
The following study tackles the comparison between the eugenics movement in the United States of America and the racial hygiene of Nazi Germany. It seeks to identify the similar points that are shared by these two racial movements. Also, it aims to identify the differences between them. More specifically, the study attempts to investigate the idea that although the American racial policies of eugenics were practiced years before Adolf Hitler and the Nazis comes to rule Germany. Yet, their racial policies remain hidden in the history of the U.S.A. To reach this aim, this study is depended on a descriptive and a compare and contrast methods because of the nature of the topic. The results of this study revealed that there are a number of significant similarities between the two movements, as well as there are many outstanding differences between them. It investigated that the U.S.A practiced the eugenics racial methods years before the Nazis.
