dc.description.abstracthis research work investigates the impacts of China's Economic Expansion in Africa After the Cold War, its causes, results, and repercussions on the American trade transactions with the region. It aims to understand the policies adopted by China to penetrate the African markets, and exhibits the main reforms embraced by it to raise its economic development. It clarifies the hidden geopolitical objectives of its wide investments, and why China has chosen Africa as new markets and foreign partner. It also sheds the light on the American -African ties that emphasize more on security and stability issues, and less on trade. African countries ambitions to join and integrate the globalized world led its leaders to think of reestablishing new strategies appropriate to its natural and human resources. African leaders' future objective is to end up the economic dependency to the western world and create a solid economic basis through promoting intra-trade partnership, confronting internal and external challenges and going on sustained economic growth project.ar
