Abstract
This work has been based on the chemical spray pyrolysis technique, it is a very attractive method, that it is used to produce thin films for different applications
In this work, we have deposited set samples of ZnO CuO SnO2 thin films, CuO/ZnO and CuO/SnO2 heterojunctions onto glass substrates. Then the same experimental procedure has been used to realize the photodetectors based on PN heterojunctions (Al/CuO/ZnO, Al/CuO/SnO2).
As well as, all thin films were analyzed by assorted techniques X-ray diffraction, UV-Vis, and four points method. The XRD patterns showed that the structure of all the films is polycrystalline structure, the average grain size (D) is ranged between 100 and 150 nm whiche is given appropriate electrical and optical performance.
It was observed that the electrical conductivity of all samples is good and its values ranged from… to ….
Fabricated heterostructure PDs showed a higher absorbance in UV-Vis range which can be exploited for UV detection.
