dc.description.abstractتفحص الدراسة دور الإنفاق الاستثماري العام على البنى التحتية في دعم المؤسسات الصغيرة والمتوسطة، لذلك تم اختيار مجموعة من المتغيرات المفسرة التي تعبر عن الإنفاق على البنى التحتية والمتمثلة في الإنفاق على المطارات، السكك الحديدية، الطرقات، الموانئ وشبكة نقل المياه. في حين تمثل المتغير التابع في العدد السنوي للمؤسسات الصغيرة والمتوسطة في الدول المختارة ضمن العينة. حيث تم الاعتماد على نموذج انحدار بانل (دراسة زمنية مقطعية) لتسعة دول هي بلجيكا، كندا، فرنسا، ألمانيا، ايطاليا، البرتغال، روسيا الاتحادية، اسبانيا والمملكة البريطانية المتحدة، وهذا خلال الفترة الزمنية من 2000 حتى 2011. وقد تم التوصل إلى أن هناك علاقة ارتباط ايجابية بين الإنفاق العام على البنى التحتية وتطور عدد المؤسسات الصغيرة والمتوسطة في الدول المختارة. This study examines the role of public investment spending on infrastructure in the support of small and medium enterprises (SME’s). We choose a set of explanatory variables which are reflecting the gove rnment spending on infrastructure, as the spending on airports, railwa ys, roads, Maritime ports and Inland waterway, while the dependent variable was the annual number of SME’s in the sample countries. We used a Panel data model (cross-sectional time study) constructed by a sample of nine countries: Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Russia, Spain and the United Kingd om, and a period from 2000 to 2011. The study found that there is a significant relationship between public spending on infrastructure and the evolution of the number of SME’s in the sample countries
