| dc.description.abstract | تهدف الورقة إلى محاولة جمع وفهم البحوث المجزأة حول ريادة الأعمال في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا والاقتصادات الناشئة. نجري مراجعة ونحاول فهم الأدبيات المجزأة في بيئات مختلفة حول مساهمة الجنسين. أظهرت النتائج أن إنشاء المؤسسات الصغيرة والمتوسطة ساهم بتفعيل ريادة الأعمال، لكن بمعدل أقل من المتوسطات العالمية في منطقة MENA. كما اتضح الدور المتزايد لاستخدام الشبكات القائمة على المعرفة لإنشاء أعمال جديدة، وتبادل المعرفة داخل المنطقة وخارجها، مع وجود فجوة مهمة في هذا المجال تتمثل في الافتقار إلى الدراسات التي تحلل ريادة الأعمال النسائية التي لا تستخدم لغة الشبكات (مثل الروابط والشبكات). The paper aims to attempt, collect and understand the fragmented research on entrepreneurship in the MENA region and emerging economies. We review and try to understand the fragmented literature in different settings on the contribution of genders. The results showed that the establishment of SMEs is a pillar to activate entrepreneurship at a rate lower than the global averages in the MENA region. The findings clarified the increasing role of using knowledge-based resources and networks to create new businesses, and share knowledge within and outside the region. An important gap in the field is the lack of studies that analyze Women entrepreneurship, which does not use the language of networks (e.g., ties and networks). | ar |
