dc.description.abstractThe present study seeks to investigate the role of implementing task-based language teaching on promoting EFL learners' communicative interaction. This reasearch attempts to examine the effectiveness of using different sorts of tasks which are the basuc elements for the notion of task-base language teaching method on helping students to develop their communicative abilities and interactional skills. As well as, it is hypothosized that if EFL learners are engaged in classroom tasks then their communicative abilities and interactional skills will be improved and EFL learners' communicative interavtion will not be enhanced through the implementation of task-based language teaching. For fulfilling the purpose of this study a descriptive research method was conducted in which two questionnaires are submitted to second year LMD students and EFL teachers of the english departement at Larbi Ben M'Hidi universuity in Oum-El-Bouaghi. The research findings show that task-based language teaching is an effective teaching method where students can practice the target language and moving from just enhancing the linguistic competences of students to get them able to communicate in the target language and interact effectivelly in the classroom. Therefore, task-based language teachind does enhance oral competencies amo,g students ; they will take part inany classroom discourse exchange and then getting students around a successful languge communication and interaction.ar
