Item Investigating students’ attitudes towards the english syllabus design(Université De Larbi Ben M’hidi Oum EL Bouaghi, 2021) Ziad, Belkisse Chahinez; Benhamlaoui, LamineSyllabus design is a very important step in the teaching-learning process in English of Specific Purposes (ESP) that provides information about the course goals and objectives and what will be required by the learners. Needs analysis is considered the key feature of designing a syllabus. This research is about investigating Master one and Master two Law students' needs towards syllabus design at L'Arbi Ben M'hidi University. It aims to identify the needs of Law students to design a suitable English syllabus that fits their language learning needs. The type of the language, the language skills and sub-skills were the core of the syllabus design. A quantitative research method was used for conducting this research by depending on a questionnaire that was handed to both levels of master students of Law department. The study was carried out in the department of Law at L'Arbi Ben M'hidi University, Oum El Bouaghi, with fifty six (56) master students of the academic year 2020-2021. The results of this study showed that law department master students need to learn both specific and general English that includes learning the speaking skill with all of the language sub skills.
