The Role of the algerian written press in development
(Oum El Bouaghi University, 2021) Guenchouba, Abderrahmane
This study aims to answer the question: Is the Algerian written press a developmental media? The research deals with some concepts related to the theory of development media, its characteristics and requirements, then to a glimpse into the journalistic treatment of development issues that dozens of studies have touched upon and which answers the question. Despite the shortcomings and obstacles, the margin of freedom of the Algerian press enables it to play important development roles and classifies them as developmental media.
