    A New perspective on how to achieve performance excellence: a comparative analysis of the American and European 2020 Model

    This paper provides a comparative analysis of the European and the American 2020 excellence models to clarify the models’ similarities and differences and provide an understanding of both models' perspective on how to achieve performance excellence, for that purpose, an inductive and comparative analysis methods have been used. The study concluded that both models indicate a different perspective on how to achieve performance excellence, as the European model proposed a new perspective; furthermore, the study outlined some shortcomings that must be considered and suggested some recommendations.
