Item An observer based backstepping control for a greenhouse(2011) Belhani, Ahmed; M’sirdi, Nacer KouiderIn this paper we use the backstepping approach to control climate parameters of greenhouse. To get realistic simulation, we use real weather data collected in the south region of Algeria (Biskra). We control temperature, relative humidity and CO2 concentration by acting on four variables such as heating, ventilation, CO2 injection and water injection. However as the CO2 sensors is not available, we use an nonlinear observer based on temperature and steam density measurements, To get an optimal controller, the multi- objective genetic algorithms based on Non dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithms (NSGA) techniques and Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) approach are introduced.Item Design, simulation, sizing and optimization of hybrid renewable energy systems PVWindBattery using PSO algorithm(University of Oum El Bouaghi, 2021) Bensalmi, Walid; Belhani, AhmedIn this paper, an optimization model is presented to determine the best size of a hybrid energy system (HES), which consists of photovoltaic (PV), wind turbine (WT) and battery. For distant regions and also the smart cities, this system enables a clean and stable power source. In this context, this study explores the application of a simple and efficient Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm. This algorithm aims to determine the optimal configure of system components to minimize cost and meet load demand. For this objective, all the components are modeled (PV, WT and battery) and the levelized cost of energy is defined as an objective function. The concept of loss of power supply probability (LPSP) should be considered in hybrid energy systems in order to have a reliable system. The research presented in this paper was conducted in Constantine, Algeria and may be applied to any similar regions, throughout the world.Item Placement optimization in sensors network using a linear discernment analyses-based clustering for smart greenhouse(University of Oum El Bouaghi, 2021) Bentoumi, Adel; Belhani, AhmedThe location of the sensors is generally determined based on the experience of greenhouse producers and designers. To monitor accurately the interior environment of a greenhouse, the installation locations of sensors must be carefully chosen. In this study, we propose a linear discriminant analysis (LDA) which chooses an optimal configuration of sensors for a particular application from a whole set of Networks. The proposed method finds the direction w via the LDA such that when data are projected onto this direction, The scheme aims to split the large network into irregular subareas, regarded as blocks. In each of such blocks, the nodes measurements are as uniformly correlated as possible in placement from each cluster.Item SDR based design of a system for meteorological image acquisition through NOAA satellite(University of Oum El Bouaghi, 2021) Belhani, Ahmed; Boumadjen, Soumeya; Djebli, ImeneSoftware Defined Radio is a logical evolution, and convergence of digital radios and software technologies. It offers practical, effective, and inexpensive solutions. In this paper, we present SDR based design of a system for meteorological image acquisition through NOAA satellite. These satellites are equipped with a radiometer, which scans the earth in five channels; its scanner is able to map the clouds and vegetation, to measure the temperature and the humidity in the atmosphere and on the earth. The idea behind this study is to create a database of meteorological parameters to serve all Algerian researchers.
