تعد الأسرة الوحدة الاجتماعية الأولى التي ينشأ فيها الطفل حيث يحتك بها احتكاكا يوميا، فهي المؤسسة الأولى والأساسية المسؤولة من إعداد الطفل وتهيئه للحياة الاجتماعية، ليكون عضوا فعالا وصالحا في المجتمع والتربية الجنسية من أهم مكونات التنشئة الاجتماعية والتي عن طريقها يتعلم الأفراد القيم الجنسية والسلوك الاجتماعي المسموح به في إطار ثقافتهم لإشباع الدافع الجنسي و للاتجاهات الوالدية نحو التربية دور كبير في اكتسابها وحماية الأبناء من مشكلات الجنسية

Sexual education is one of the most important components of social upbringing, through which individuals learn the sexual values and social behavior that are allowed within the framework of their culture to satisfy the sexual drive. Parental attitudes towards education play a major role in acquiring it and protecting children from sexual problems
